Animal Refuge League Board of Directors Names Vice President

Portland, Maine — May 13, 2008 — Putney, Inc. announced today that Christina Perkins, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, was named Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland (ARL). Putney is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on development of high quality, affordable generic drugs for companion animals.

As part of her role as a Director, Perkins is chair of a committee charged with developing a new signature event for the ARL. Set to debut in April 2009, the annual event will raise funds to help defray the increasing costs of veterinary care and medicine for the animals served by the ARL.
